##### Daily Practice and Intention
A Daily Practice and Intention gives us an opportunity to consciously gather and direct our attention and energy toward something. It helps keep our [[π‘ Developmental Goal]] front-and-center.
It comes in two parts:
###### Daily Practice
We consciously gather our energy and attention to ground in the present moment. Fundamentally this is about taking a single [[π―οΈ Mindful Moments|π Mindful Moment]]. This doesn't have to take time out of our day, it can be integrated into what we're already doing, like taking a shower or drinking our morning tea or coffee. We might taking few [[π¨ Full Breath]]s and really notice the scents, tastes, textures, sights, and sounds of whatever it is we're doing.

###### Daily Intention
Once we're in the present moment, we decide how we will (or won't) use the day toward the fulfillment of our [[π‘ Developmental Goal|Goal]]. This disrupts habit and allows us to work with consciousness and intentionality β [[Practices π―οΈ]].
It can be helpful to answer the following questions:
- "What do I intend to accomplish today?"
- "How will I practice being receptive today?"
- "What is my [[π Pendulation Anchor]] / What are my [[π―οΈ Resourcing|π―οΈ Resources]] today?"
Take 2-5 minutes in the morning to set a conscious intention as [[π‘ Presence|Presence]] for the day.
Start this right away, write it down.
