πŸ”Ό: [[πŸ’‘ Developmental Container]] ##### Daily Practice and Intention A Daily Practice and Intention gives us an opportunity to consciously gather and direct our attention and energy toward something. It helps keep our [[πŸ’‘ Developmental Goal]] front-and-center. It comes in two parts: ###### Daily Practice We consciously gather our energy and attention to ground in the present moment. Fundamentally this is about taking a single [[πŸ•―οΈ Mindful Moments|πŸ›  Mindful Moment]]. This doesn't have to take time out of our day, it can be integrated into what we're already doing, like taking a shower or drinking our morning tea or coffee. We might taking few [[πŸ’¨ Full Breath]]s and really notice the scents, tastes, textures, sights, and sounds of whatever it is we're doing. > [!example] Other Suggestions > - Setting a [[πŸ›  Pendulation Anchor]] or [[πŸ•―οΈ Resourcing|πŸ•―οΈ Resource]] > - [[πŸ•―οΈ Meditation 🧘]] > - [[πŸ•―οΈ Journaling]] > - [[πŸ•―οΈ Movement Practices πŸ‘Ÿ]] > - [[πŸ‘Ÿ Walking]] in nature > - [[πŸ›  Integration Experiments]]; [[πŸ•―οΈ Integration Practices]] ###### Daily Intention Once we're in the present moment, we decide how we will (or won't) use the day toward the fulfillment of our [[πŸ’‘ Developmental Goal|Goal]]. This disrupts habit and allows us to work with consciousness and intentionality – [[Practices πŸ•―οΈ]]. It can be helpful to answer the following questions: - "What do I intend to accomplish today?" - "How will I practice being receptive today?" - "What is my [[πŸ›  Pendulation Anchor]] / What are my [[πŸ•―οΈ Resourcing|πŸ•―οΈ Resources]] today?" Take 2-5 minutes in the morning to set a conscious intention as [[πŸ’‘ Presence|Presence]] for the day. Start this right away, write it down. > [!Example] Example Intentions > - To not do anything toward the [[πŸ’‘ Developmental Goal]]. > - Do something, top 3 to-dos. > - Be a certain way, like a good listener, courageous, risk-taking, self-accepting, patient – while doing what you have to do throughout the day.
