Then bring your eyes back to center. > - Explore vertically. It doesn’t matter whether we explore up or down first. Then back to center. > - Move your eyes in one, two, or three wide circles in one direction, then in the opposite direction. Try to give a full minute to each circle. > > Whenever you feel even a subtle [[⭐️ Emotions|emotion]], stop and hold your gaze there. Breathe, and feel whatever arises, be they emotions, felt senses, and/or felt images. Here we are dipping into the [[Depth of Process]] – allow whatever arises to be felt and processed. > > If it starts to feel like too much, [[🕯️ Pendulation|pendulate]] (before it becomes overwhelming) to your [[🛠 Pendulation Anchor]] and bring your gaze back to center (unless that is the activating location) and/or close your eyes, if that feels safe. > > > [!tip] Tip for working in pairs > > Have someone hold a finger up and follow it as they move it in the patterns above. > > > > They can also help you explore regions of your visual field this way: > > Imagine your visual field as a clock face. Have someone raise a finger, starting in the center of the "clock." As you're continuing [[💨 Connected Breathing]], have them slowly move their finger to the 3 o’clock region, stopping at any sign of reactivity (e.g., blinking, swallowing, eye freezing, tearing, or any emotional or physical reaction). You can then [[🕯️ Pendulation|pendulate]] between the center of the clock and the location of activation. After one area has been processed, then you can proceed to explore other ranges, always moving from the center of the clock face outward toward, say, 6 o’clock, 9 o’clock, and 12 o’clock. Then you can explore the diagonals. This is an extremely powerful practice for accessing [[⭐️ Emotions|emotions]] and working through emotional reactivity. > [^1]:
