# Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba) [^1]
Parts used: Leaves, fruits, and seeds
Ginko is most effective when used for 2 to 4 months. The effects are not sudden or dramatic, but if taken over time there is a noticeable increase of memory and vitality. Ginko is the only surviving species of a large genus of plants that goes back 250 million years. It perhaps works in part because it holds the memories of an entire age in its makeup.[^1]
Ginko can cause headaches for some people.
