Unprocessed or minimally processed foods contain all of the vitamins and nutrients of their composing ingredients. These foods are in a natural or nearly natural state and are easy to spot.
- They typically have five or less ingredients.
- You can often distinguish the original ingredients in the final product.
- The label's list of ingredients is familiar.
They might be altered by the removal of inedible parts, drying, drushing, raosting, boiling, freezing, or pasteurization.
