###### 🔑 We will always have parts
It is common for [[💡 Parts|Parts]] to fear that we'll try to make them go away or disappear once they’ve [[💡 Unburdening|unburdened]] or stopped doing their jobs, but this is *never* the intention. The intention is to [[🔑 liberate Parts from the roles they’ve been forced into, so they can be who they’re meant to be]].
After [[💡 Parts|Parts]] [[💡 Unburdening|unburden]] it is possible for them to dissipate, but this is usually temporary. This sometimes happens when a part transforms, though we’re likely to find them again.
Other [[💡 Parts|Parts]] may tell us, even while we’re getting to know them, that they just want to rest after they’re able to heal or stop doing their jobs. They don’t leave us, but they might want to stay asleep or to fully integrate — like a wave falling back into the ocean of our being. If this happens, it’s because it’s what the [[💡 Parts|Part]] wants for themself. The intention is not to make this happen, and there is nothing to say it ought to happen, but it can. This tends to happen with healthy or healed parts almost exclusively.

Perhaps parts integrate and melt because [[🔑 Parts have Presence]] and [[🔑 Presence is non-dual]]. Just as we are parts of the Big Self, our parts are parts of our Self.
