If we're not mindful of the fact that one step in one direction is one less step we can take in another, we're likely to say yes to almost anything, because we can't feel the sacrifice of time. We risk our days filling with meaningless-to-us things, things other people want us to do to make their lives easier, because we’ve never required anything to pass through our [[🛠 Priority Matrix]]. We may be pin-balling around from one monumentally important cause to another, but there are too many extremely important things to keep track of and stay up-to-date on, and any one of them could be focused on full-time by any number of experts – too much is worthy of attention to give everything the attention it deserves. [[🔑 We can’t do everything]]. If we're trying to see every country in the world, we're unlikely to see the most interesting parts of anywhere we go – [[🔑 As speed decreases, wonder increases]].
