# Shoulder Release

Use:
A [[💡 Somatic Experiencing]] exercise to release [[🛡️ Emotional Armoring]] in our shoulders. This can be done with other parts of the [[⭐️ Body]], shoulders are just usually the most accessible.
1. *Very slowly* raise the shoulders a tiny bit, hold for a few seconds, then slowly release.
2. Do this again, but raise the shoulders slightly higher, hold a few seconds, and release.
3. Pause. Notice sensations, feeling, emotions, images, etc.
This can be combined with the [[💨 Voo Breath]]
