# Our Limbic System often conflicts with our Frontal Lobes
Our [[💡 Limbic System]] might tell us we're in danger, so we feel [[💡 Anxiety]] or [[💡 Fear]], while our [[💡 Frontal Lobes]] respond by telling us that we're safe and have nothing to worry about and it's all in our heads. Or maybe our [[💡 Limbic System]] tell us we're sad and don't want to get out of bed, and then our [[💡 Frontal Lobes]] tell us we're being lazy and have to get up.
When we're [[💡 Anxiety|Anxious]] and panicky our [[💡 Limbic System]] controls our [[💡 Frontal Lobes]], but [[🕯️ Meditation 🧘]] can reverse this, allowing us to contextualize and [[🕯️ Tending to feelings|process]] our [[⭐️ Emotions]].
