So do *many* people in these groups. But we keep coming back because they can connect us with wonderful people who want to use their years of experience to help anyone who asks. There are Zoom meetings happening at all hours of the day, and you can join with your camera off and just sit and listen if you like — you don't even have to make your presence known if you don't want to. There's a support group for just about everything. Not all of them are listed here. These groups can be life-saving and life-changing, but they also have the usual 12 Step baggage — specifically shaming and pathologizing language. But there will also be people who recognize and reject that.
