# ๐ฏ๏ธ Resourcing
Resourcing is about helping our [[๐ก Parts|Parts]] find [[โ๏ธ Connection]] with [[Qualities of Presence โ๏ธ|Qualities of Presence]] through external means โ a kind of portal or [[๐ Anchors|๐ Anchor]] to [[๐ก Presence|Presence]]. A resource for the hurt, not one to get away from it. Being receptive to the field of love.

###### ๐ฆฎ How to Resource
There are lots of ways to resource. Everyone has [[โ๏ธ Self-Energy]]. Animals, trees, the sky, the earth, all have it โ [[๐ Presence is non-dual]], and the more ways we have to connect to this energy the more stable the connection becomes. [[๐ Trust your experience and intuition|๐ Find what works for you]].
- Invite the energy of the buddha, a teacher, a therapist or practitioner, Guides, a friend. Avatars for love, surrogates for love.
- [[๐ Ideal Parent Figure Protocol]].
- Making or taking in books, music, films, artwork.
- Connecting with self โ [[๐ฏ๏ธ Loving Touch]], [[โ๏ธ Equanimity]], [[๐ง Loving-Kindness (Metta) Meditation]], [[๐ฏ๏ธ Movement and Exercise ๐|Movement]], [[๐ฏ๏ธ Sankalpas]].
- Connecting with trusted others, [[โญ๏ธ Community]], animals
- Connecting with spirit/Source โ prayer, church, shamanic journeying, meditation groups, spirit in all things
- Connecting with Nature โ being in [[โญ๏ธ Outdoors|โญ Nature]], imaginal connection. Nourishing foods.
- Connecting with Place โ remembering or imagining environment where you feel safe or at home
- Connecting with culture/tradition โ rituals, holidays
- Consider your favorite moments from the year, make them resources, strong anchors.
