🔼: [[🕯️ Parts Practices]]
###### The IFS Process
The IFS Process is a methodology for achieving [[The Goals of Internal Family Systems]] in safety during [[💡 The IFS Session|IFS Sessions]]. Generally speaking, it's best to be guided by [[💡 The IFS Practitioner|a practitioner]], but (for now) they're in short supply and are often prohibitively expensive. It's possible to use [[⭐️ Internal Family Systems|IFS]] on your own, but it can be quite difficult, which is in part why this guide exists. This is *a* way get to know parts, not *the* way. Don't start with serious [[💡 Trauma|Trauma]], go where it feels safe enough.
The order of this list is a tendency, not a rule.
The notes themselves will clarify why that is.
1. [[💡 The 6 Fs of Internal Family Systems]]
2. [[💡 Witnessing]]
3. [[💡 Retrieval]]
4. [[💡 Unburdening]]
5. [[💡 Invitation]]
6. [[💡 Integrate a Part]]
