Internal Family Systems (IFS)

"Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)"
โ€” Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass

Originally developed by ๐Ÿ‘ค Richard Schwartz, IFS is a form of โญ๏ธ Parts Work. It is a trauma-informed psycho-spiritual model and therapy modality which assumes the psyche is made up of an inner-community (โ€œinternal familyโ€) of subpersonalities called Parts.

Notice

Richard Schwartz is supportive of my work here, but I do not represent the IFS Institute and am not a certified IFS Trainer.
